This method will not work if you have a static IP address.

What is a Static IP address you ask? A static IP address is basically a “fixed” address that stays associated with a single PC over an extended period of time. This is different from a dynamic IP address, which is assigned to your computer every time you connect to the internet, normally changing from one session to the next.

To tell whether your IP is static or dynamic simply go to showmyip.com and it will tell you your IP address eg; 55.202.124.15

Now simply switch off your modem and turn it on again. Once you are connected to the internet. Check your IP in the website above once more. If it is exactly the same number then this method will not work for you. Though if it changes you will be able to use the method below.

As soon as you see the dreaded “You have used your 72 minutes of megavideo” message. Switch off your modem for a few secondsand clear your cookies by going to

Tools > Clear internet History > *check the box that says cookies* and click clear now.

On internet explorer its slightly different it says Clear cache on the tools menu instead but is basically the same.

Now that you have cleared your cookies and changed your IP address you will be able to refresh the video and continue watching from were you left off.
